The police at U. C. Berkeley have announced that they have identified the assailant in a recorded assault and battery with a political base and will make an arrest as soon as the warrant is issued. A few days ago a conservative student (yes, there are five or six of them at Berkeley) was manning a table in the plaza with a sign on it decrying fake hate crimes because they diminish real hate crimes. He was the victim of harassment and then physical attack, caught by more than a couple of camera phones. By the time you see this he may be in custody.
In a similar incident the cops in Somerset, N.J. arrested a 19-year old man for attacking a 81-old man because he was wearing a MAGA hat. The unnamed victim was pushing a cart full of groceries out of a local grocery store when he was set upon by Ryan M. Salvagno.
The victim attempted to leave after the verbal confrontation, but Salvagno attacked him, knocking to the ground while taking his hat. He also rolled the senior citizen's grocery cart, spilling the contents in the parking lot. He then threw the hat down and left.
The young asshole is being charged with disorderly conduct, assault and harassment by Franklin County authorities. I hope they hang the punk.

The home of free speech on campus is the least tolerant of free speech unless it is leftist speech.
People who have been living on the government tit and supporters of socialism are getting nervous. This is a time of serious unrest and I expect more intense confrontations in the future. Civil War could be looming on the horizon.
