The legislature of the formerly great state of California has agreed to extend state-paid health care to most undocumented democrats in the state between the ages of 19 and 25. The current guesstimate is that this will cost the taxpayers about $100 million a year. It will, however, tend to move undocumented democrats strongly into the democrat voter base when they become legal, or when they vote anyway whether they are legal or not. That, of course, is the whole idea of the exercise.
Governor Newsom has already said he will sign the bill if it gets to his desk.
