Brigadier General Laura Yeager has been named the commander of the California National Guard's 40th Infantry Division. She is currently the commander of Joint Task Forth North at Fort Bliss, Texas.
She had deployed to Iraq as the Deputy Commander of the California National Guard's 40th Combat Aviation Brigade. Her father had once commanded the same brigade.
