They say the best way to go broke is to open a restaurant. Allegedly way over 40% of them fail in the first two years. Often restaurant after restaurant will fail in the same location. A case in point.
The intersection of Yokuts and Pacific is a major traffic center in Stockton. It is the primary entrance to Delta College and the two large shopping malls in the city are nestled around that intersection. There is also a major bus hub there. There is a very nice building there that was purpose built as a restaurant. The third occupant, Red Robin, is now pulling out, citing under-performance.
Oh well, what the hell. There is always the food court at the mall.
