FURTHER INFO ON COLORADO RED FLAG SITUATION

by Bob Walsh

A couple of days ago I wrote about an attempt made by Susan Holmes to have a "red flag" gun seizure order issued against a Colorado State University police officer, Corporal Phillip Morris, who (along with a Ft. Collins officer) shot her son to death two years ago when he charged them while holding a combat knife. In her attempt to create standing she asserted that she and Corporal Morris had a child together. That assertion is false.

My earlier piece did not have information on whether or not the judge had actually refused to issue the order or whether the Sheriff had merely stated he would not serve it if it was in fact issued. The judge in fact refused to issue the order.

When called on the obvious falsehood of her filing with the court, Ms. Holmes replied that the matter was open to interpretation and that she refused further comment as she might appeal the judges decision.

Holmes' filing is made under oath under penalty of perjury. It is unclear if Laramir County is going to pursue charges against Holmes.

They sure BETTER prosecute her for perjury.
