The Trump administration has filed suit against the state of New Jersey and Kings County (Seattle) Washington, asserting that their sanctuary policies hinder federal offices and place them in harms way unnecessarily and without justification.
New Jersey is now interfering with the feds by refusing to allow local officers to share information. Kings County has a policy that refuses to allow DHS from using the Kings County International Airport for deportation flights. (Strange, I thought the feds controlled airfields, especially those with international flights.)
There are also pissing contests under way in other jurisdictions over similar bullshit. I would not be surprised if this issue ends up in front of the Supreme Court.
