The Paratroopers’ swearing-in ceremony takes place at Ammunition Hill, a
position the brigade fought hard to overcome as it liberated Jerusalem
in the 1967 Six Day War
Many of the new Paratroopers are from Israel’s ultra-Orthodox Jewish
community. Recent years have seen an increasing number of religious Jews
signing on for military service

They used to do the swearing in at Masada. I wonder if they still do? I expect the answer to that one is YES.
