Woman bites into HUGE exotic spider while eating McDonald's chicken and bacon wrap
A UK mum was traumatized after discovering that she had been chewing on a "huge exotic spider" that had reportedly been lurking in her McDonald's wrap. Katie Moss, 21, on Wednesday unsuspectingly ordered a chicken and bacon wrap, chips, and 99p burger from McDonald's for her lunch on Just Eat.
Moss says that she was stunned to see an "exotic-looking spider" that she had "never seen" before, leaving her to believe that it was not from the UK. "I ordered it for lunch because we didn't have much in it and I just fancied a McDonald's. I was three quarters of the way through it and I felt something hard in my mouth," she said.
"At first, I thought it was the end of a tomato so I pulled it out and at first I thought it was just part of the chicken but when I looked closer, I thought it was a crab then I realized it was a spider. I spat the rest out but I had bitten into it. I was disgusted, I felt like throwing up. It was all curled up," Moss added.
Moss also said that she wouldn't have minded if it was a small one,
but this spider was literally huge and visibly deeply fried. She
couldn't do anything else other than to report the Mcdonald's agency to
which she says, "They never responded!"
Reacting to Katie's
revelations, the customer care assistant said that Moss has been offered
a refund and replacement voucher but she resorted to "never ordering
food" from their chain again and asked for a better compensation.
McDonald's
has also apologized and is now investigating the chewed-up item to
establish what it is and how it got in Moss' food. So far, they suspect
it could have originated from a bag of fresh lettuce.

I would suspect the insect was in the lettuce. When I was youngster, my grandmother would buy a stalk of Bananas from the boats unloading in Galveston. They would sometimes have huge spiders hidden in them.
