UN Trying to Enshrine Israeli ‘Racism’ and ‘Apartheid’ With Shady, Lopsided Report
Jerusalem and Washington slam 18-page document by UN’s permanent inquiry into alleged Israeli crimes as a biased “waste of money.”

To label as “blatant” the UN’s efforts to delegitimize Israel and the Zionist enterprise would at this point be an understatement. The world body has made itself an open enemy of the full restoration of the Jewish nation.
And for those who read the Bible, that means the UN has set itself against the purposes of God. Not a good place to be.
“For I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your sons. I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh, and they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine; And the world will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” (Isaiah 49:25-26)
On Tuesday the United Nations effectively laid all the blame for the Arab-Israeli conflict on the Jewish state alone.
An 18-page document published by the UN’s permanent commission of inquiry into alleged Israeli crimes (it has never before established such a commission for any other nation) concluded that the “cycle of violence” was Israel’s fault due to, among other things:
- Forced displacement
- Threats of forced displacement
- Demolitions
- Settlement construction and expansion
- Settler violence
- The blockade of Gaza
The list is laughably easy to pick apart. Many of those points are in fact Israeli responses to Palestinian violence. The family homes of terrorists are demolished, the Gaza Strip is blockaded, and Jewish “settlers” become violently angry as reactions to incessant Palestinian attacks.

Equally ludicrous is the UN’s recommendation that Israel simply “end the occupation” and all will be well. If that were true, then there never would have been an “occupation” in the first place. But it’s not true, and the Palestinian Arabs and their benefactors were mercilessly attacking Israel long before it took control of these territories in 1967.
The UN, however, doesn’t care how silly it might come across. The true goal isn’t conflict resolution. Rather, it’s setting the stage to enshrine the charges of racism and apartheid against Israel in official resolutions.
Anne Herzberg, legal advisor and UN representative for NGO Monitor, astutely noted:
“The report attacks foundational policies of Israel, making multiple false claims regarding discrimination in order to build a case of racism and so that this permanent [commission of inquiry] can later accuse Israel of apartheid.”
She went on to point out the shady nature of the whole affair in that the authors of the report are not identified, nor has the commission revealed how it selected its three commissioners. But we can give an educated guess – all three are known anti-Israel antagonists.
Israel’s Foreign Ministry called the report “biased and one-sided [and] tainted with hatred for the State of Israel.” Jerusalem lamented that this “witch hunt” is far from over, with the new permanent commission scheduled to report to the UN Human Rights Council every year, starting next week.
The US State Department also correctly labeled the report “a one-sided, biased approach that does nothing to advance the prospects for peace. The report of the Commission does nothing to alleviate our concerns. It is a continuation of a longstanding pattern of unfairly singling out Israel.”
ADDENDUM: In March the UN also ruled it's "invalid" to designate Jerusalem Israel's capital.
