It was either 111 or 112 today in Stockton depending on which weather report you believe.  I wasn't too worried about the power crashing due to it being a legal holiday.  Tomorrow it will be about 115.  Cal I S O  (the power grid people) are urging large users who have their own standby power to go off grid tomorrow to ease the strain on the power system.  Reading between the lines they figure it is likely there will be rolling blackouts tomorrow.  That will be fun fun fun.  When I got home tonight at about 1115 p.m. the AC was running and I keep my thermostat set at 80.  It will be hotter tomorrow and stay hotter later.  

Some days I really miss the bay area.
