There are now five weeks to go
until the general election. The conventional wisdom says that, at this
stage of the game, you will not be able to change people's minds. The
various sides will be working at getting out their vote. They will of
course not totally ignore the issues, and sometimes things do happen.
Like people drop dead, get arrested or get caught passed out drunk and
naked in the junior high schools girls locker room. But you can't count
on that.
Much will be made
of Kamala's idiotic statement about the feds prioritizing relief money
to people of color. That being said, it is not likely to move any
votes. The people who will vote for her and Joe will vote for her
anyway. They know she is a moron and he is a drooling idiot. It
doesn't matter.
Remember
the election is running right now. Something like 30 states will be
opening early voting this week or are already running early voting.
They want their supporters to vote early and often.
Decisions are made by people who show up. Remember that.
