Last Wednesday my computer line went dead for a full day.
Last Wednesday my land line telephone went dead. It took me 1/2 hour and three humans to convince somebody at Ma Bell that my land line phone does NOT go thru a modem so rebooting the modem will not help. The landline is still dead and will not be fixed until this coming Friday at the earliest. They are running new cable.
Today my cable TV went dead. It will be out all day.
Fortunately I have a good supply of DVDs and a decent cell phone. It is not a smart phone. In fact it is a stupid phone. But it works just fine.
