Republican-leaning states like Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas fared poorly in the survey, which broadly covered crime rates, natural disasters, Covid-19 vaccination rates and economic indicators, like levels of unemployment and homelessness

I suspect that if it were not for Memphis and Austin both Tennessee and Texas would be well don the list.
