Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) owns about 300 Taco
Bell and about 30 Arby's restaurants in three states. It has hooked up
with ChargeNet Stations, an outfits that installs solar powdered Ecar
chargers. This is not a horribly expensive proposition as the formerly
great state of California heavily subsidizes such things. For a fee of
$20 this devices will put a 20-minutes, 100 mile charge on any EV
vehicle charger. There will be about 100 of them installed starting
next year.
Starbucks just
announced that it will soon begin installing chargers in five states
between Denver and Seattle. They will work for Volvo electric
automobiles only.

Bought my Toyota Tacoma new in 1995. It's our only vehicle. It runs just fine. So forgive me when I laugh at idiots who replace their car every couple of years and are about to buy an electric vehicle...then try to guilt me for not being "environmentally friendly."
