I have not been to Moscow, Idaho
in perhaps 60 years. It was a nice place. The university has been
there since 1889. It was a land grant university begun when Idaho was
still a territory. It's first graduating class was in 1896. That was
four people, two men and two women. There are about 12,000 students
there now, which is about half the total population of the city. And
many of them are scared shitless.
If
news reports are to be believed many of the students have fled the
campus in the wake of the horrific murders there. The cops still have
very little information, at least very little information that they are
sharing, other than they believe these to be targeted murders as opposed
to random violence. Two young women who were sleeping in the
off-campus house at the time were not harmed and apparently slept thru
the attacks. There are now 22 FBI agents there, which is probably
almost the number of local cops in the area.
They
have yet to find the murder weapon or a suspect. I hope they do so
soon. The investigative power of modern police technology is prodigious
and has been brought fully to bear on the case. I truly hope it will
be successful.

My 2 cents. The boyfriend did it.
Either the cops don't know or they are playing it really close to the chest. Of course they get about one murder a decade in Moscow so it is possible their investigative technique is a bit rusty.
