The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed today right around 34,100. That is the highest it has been in about the last 14 weeks. That does NOT mean the current economic woes are over. In fact the DOW will probably flutter around 34,000 for some little while before it moves highe (with some luck). It is, however, better than a sharp stick in the eye.
