THIS IS A FUCKING STUPID IDEA

The formerly great state of California is seriously considering an idea that would create a sliding scale utility rate for residences based on the income of the resident.  Comparatively wealthy people would pay significantly more for the same amount of electricity than would people at the lower end of the socio-economic scale.  These are the people that the state wants to keep buying and using electric cars.  Now not only is it difficult to keep the electrical grid working in CA (it will be even worse if Diablo Canyon shuts down) it will (if this passes) be a LOT more expensive to run your Tesla than it would be to run your eight-year old Corolla.  

Sometimes I think the tards to run CA just make shit up, throw it against the wall, and see if it sticks.
