Sacramento city council
Earlier
this month the city council of Sacramento spent a ton of time debating,
arguing, listening and having people arrested over a resolution
concerning the unpleasantness in Gaza. They finally approved a
meaningless resolution opposing unpleasantness. Unanimously.
This
week the city council of Sacramento passed, after a ton of time
debating, arguing and listening (no arrests that I know of) over a
resolution making Sacramento a Sanctuary City for transgender People.
No one was able to explain exactly WHY people in Sacramento need
sanctuary or what exactly being a sanctuary city for transgender people
actually means, but they spent a lot of time and resources on it.
How
much time did they spend trying to deal with the rampant crime problem,
chronic homelessness and the inability of the area to generate
affordable housing? Somewhere between jack and diddly.
The
people running out state capital city are much more interested in
virtue signaling than in doing their fucking JOB. That's why the city,
and other cities, are turning to shit.
