Steamboat Geyser erupts in Yellowstone National Park
Viktor Pyshniuk, 21, of Lynwood, WA, is a fucking moron. And he is paying the price for trespassing in a closed thermal area near the most dangerous geyser in Yellowstone National Park.
He
decided to take a stroll off the boardwalk last April in the Steamboat
Geyser area of Yellowstone National Park a while back and was
photographed by a park employee doing so. The Steamboat Geyser is
probably the most dangerous geyser in the world that is easily
accessible to humans. It sometimes shoots as much as 300 feet into the
air and will cook your ass if you are nearby.
He was just sentenced to 7 days in jail, banned from the park for two years, and assessed a $1,500 fine plus costs.
He said he just wanted to get some photos of the geyser.
