In a major surprise from the
formerly great state of California the God-Emperor of California, Gavin
"God I Want To Be President" Newsom, has expressed the idea that the
California Coastal Commission is being a bunch of dicks by trying to put
the kibosh on Elon Musk wanting to increase the number of rocket
launches from Vandenberg.
Will miracles never cease.
Of
course I am unsure how much Gavin can DO about it. The Coastal
Commission is an independent though appointed body. I am unsure he can
fire them, though he might be able to pressure them. Maybe he just
doesn't want Musk's recently filed lawsuit to bring the Commissions
highly questionable reasons for trying to shut Musk down. Those reasons
are blatantly political and admittedly so.
We shall no doubt see what shakes out.
