Lancaster County Commissioner Ray D’Agostino, second from

Commissioner Josh Parsons, at the County Government Center on Friday,
Oct. 25, 2024.
OK, maybe the numbers are not massive but some of the
percentages are. Officials in Lancaster County, PA have had occasion to
recently examine about 2,500 voter registrations and have determined
that at least 60% of those are out-right fraud.
These
applications were turned in by paid canvassers. They include
inaccurate information, information that does not match known
information in the file and multiple applications in the same
handwriting, some of which are for completely fictitious people.
This
issue is being looked at as a criminal violation as well as an election
code issue. All of the suspected fakes were dropped off on or near the
last day of registration, October 21.
Al
Schmidt, the PA Secretary of State, has stated that they believe these
registrations were all turned in by one "outside organization."
Lancaster County tends to lean slightly Republican in recent years.
