Shirel Golan
Shirel Golan, 22, survived the
October 7 attack in Israel last year. She had by all accounts been an
outgoing, happy young woman. She had been at the music festival when
the attack happened. After the attack she became withdrawn and
fearful.
She died on her
22nd birthday, this past Sunday, by her own hand. Her family blames the
government for a lackluster outreach to survivors suffering from
PTSD.
