SLEEPING DEAF-MUTE BEATEN UP ON AIRPLANE

Everett Chad Nelson runs an “ayahuasca church” in Miami

Everett Chad Nelson, 44, seems to be something of an asshole and is certainly a dumb mother fucker.  He was on a United Airlines flight from SF to D.C. when he decided to attack a deaf-mute man who was at the time sleeping.  The attack was according to all witnesses completely unprovoked.  

There happened to be a medical doctor on board who attended the victim.  He had a split lip and two black eyes after the incident.  The non-verbal victim communicated with crew after the incident via text message.  They moved the attacker to another seat after the incident and assigned a volunteer passenger who had pulled the attacker off his victim to babysit the attacker.  

The attacker asserted that the victim had attacked him earlier on the street though there was no evidence of any such attack.  The victim denied having ever seen Nelson before.  

An ambulance and the local constabulary were awaiting the plane when it landed.  Nelson has been charged and is looking at a year in the slammer if convicted.  It seems likely he will also be put on the internal "don't let this stupid bastard fly on our planes" asshole list.
