TALK ABOUT HANGING ON TOO LONG

By Bob Walsh

Phyllis Fong, a 22-year veteran of the department, told colleagues she intended to stay on despite an edict from Trump demanding her contract be terminated

Phyllis Fong used to be the Inspector General at the Dept. of Agriculture in D.C.  She had to be "escorted out" of her office Monday after being fired by President Trump.  (She denies this happened.)

She told her peeps on Friday that she believed her removal did not follow proper procedure and that she was not leaving.  I guess she was wrong about at least half of that.
