GREATEST SPEECH SINCE MARK ANTHONY

President Trump’s State of the Union address was a great campaign speech

I watched Trump’s State of the Union address, and although I dislike him, I did like his speech. While it sounded more like a campaign speech, it was a good one.

I was impressed with the various people Trump introduced and I especially liked the birthday serenade given to the Holocaust survivor. I also appreciated his condemnation of anti-Semitism.

Of course, the Republicans jumped out of their seats after almost every sentence while the Democrats remained on their asses. There were times during the address when everyone should have stood up, and on those occasions the congresswomen dressed in white looked like they had to be pried out of their seats.

Trump rightly complained about the investigations that are intended to drive him out of office, but I think he would have been better served not to have mentioned them in his address. His complaint immediately whetted House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s appetite to expand his investigation beyond Russia onto Trump’s finances.

How do others feel about his address? Well, it all depends on whether they like Trump or hate him.

If they like Trump, they will think that his address was the greatest speech since Mark Anthony addressed the Roman senate: “Friends, Americans and Republicans, lend me your ears. I come to bury Democrats, not to praise them. The evil that Democrats do lives after them.”

If they hate Trump, like senators Camel Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, Pocahontas Warren and Bernie Sanders and those congresswomen dressed in white, they will think his address was way too long and full of horseshit.

Trump did a great job! He was Presidential and informative. I enjoyed his SOTU speech and according to the numbers, so did most of the U.S. citizens.

As far as your personal dislike of Trump goes, I don't think he is losing any sleep over it.

MAGA!

Painting with a pretty broad brush there, aren'tcha? I mostly like the JOB that he is trying to do, and what he has managed to ACCOMPLISH (despite strong opposition) so far. Doesn't mean I'd want him to be my best buddy.

As for that Mark Anthony stuff well...whatever.
