I’ve had a number of NOW members in my classes. Most of them were out-and-out man-haters who were plain-Jane, if not ugly, divorcees pissed off because they were dumped by their husbands for a newer better equipped model.
Personally I do not patronize Hooters, but I see the latest NOW action as nothing more than an attempt to take away the pleasure many men get from being waited on by some hotties in short-shorts with ample hooters.
I don’t know how many kids eat at Hooters, but the decision whether or not to expose them to the Hooter gals should be left up to parents, not to a bunch of bitter frustrated hags!

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The California chapter of the National Organization for Women has asked police to investigate the hot-wing restaurant Hooters for exposing kids to sex.
NOW said Hooters entertains children in a salacious atmosphere, yet the business doesn't comply with rules that govern sexually oriented establishments, like requirements for security or age restrictions. NOW said it is concerned for the safety and well-being of children who go to the restaurant.
Hooters has a location at Tanforan mall in San Bruno, but the city's police did not respond to a request for comment Thursday on NOW's demand for a criminal investigation.
"We haven't got any facts yet so we'll see what they come up with," said Chief Deputy District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe, referring to San Bruno police.
NOW said it also filed complaints with authorities in San Francisco, Sacramento and Orange County.
Hooters Inc. did not immediately respond to an e-mail requesting comment.

Women are literally disposable property in many parts of the world...forced into slavery, beaten, raped, mutilated, and killed.
Not a peep from NOW.
But ten or twelve women in shorts working in a resteraunt well...we can't have that, NOW can we?
