KUMBAYA TACTICS FAILED BADLY FRIDAY NIGHT

Police failed to protect the convenience store that reported the strong-arm robbery by Michael Brown and failed to arrest any of the ‘protestors’ who looted that store

Missouri Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson, who was placed in charge of all police in Ferguson, not only had his Kumbaya tactics fail miserable Friday night, but he failed to protect the convenience store which reported the strong-arm robbery by Michael Brown.

Around midnight, the peaceful demonstration turned violent as a mob broke into and looted the convenience store that was robbed by Brown. Along with the break-in and looting, protesters hurled rocks and other objects at the police. Johnson was forced to deploy at least one armored vehicle and officers fired volleys of tear gas at the mob. Thus Johnson's Kumbaya tactics came to a screeching halt, at least for that night.

Any halfwit would have known that with the protestors highly incensed over the reporting of the convenience store robbery, the store would be the primary target should the protest become violent. The store owners knew it because as soon as the robbery video was released, they boarded up their store, telling reporters they feared for their lives.

Capt. Johnson most definitely had to know that the convenience store was a primary target, but he failed to place any officers in front of the store as a preventive measure. And worst of all, none of the looters were arrested. I suppose he did not have the store protected and did not have any of the looters arrested because that would have gone against his Kumbaya tactics.

As for the video of the robbery, Scott H. Greenfield, writing on Simple Justice, a criminal defense blog, accused the Ferguson PD of smearing Michael Brown. Greenfield also accused the authorities of fabricating a robbery out of a simple shoplifting case in order to justify the assassination of Brown.

Well, I have news for Greenfield, that lying left-wing provocateur. What could have been a simple shoplifting case turned into a felonious robbery the second Brown shoved the man into a store rack as that man tried to stop him from stealing a $50 box of cigars.

I would have to give Capt. Johnson's handling of Friday night's demonstration a failing grade, an F-.
