Yes, all of you who live in "lesser" states should note that the legislature of the formerly great state of California has just passed a $199.6 billion budget to the governor.
This budget funds K-12 at $11,639 per student. It also tweaks Community College money to align with "performance outcome." It also provides $13.8 billion for the rainy day fund, which is an excellent idea IMHO.
So far I have not been able to figure out how much money the state is allocating to a legal defense fund for criminal illegal aliens, but it is in there somewhere.
