TOM BRADY RESPECTS DISRESPECT FOR FLAG AND COUNTRY

The New England Patriots quarterback tells Oprah Winfrey it’s OK to kneel during the National Anthem

During an interview of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady by Oprah Winfrey for her TV show, the subject of players refusing to stand for the National Anthem came up. Here is what Brady said:

“I respect why people are doing what they are doing. And they're doing it for different reasons, and that's OK.”

That’s OK? Like hell it is! There are many ways NFL players could protest against police brutality and discrimination against minorities, but disrespecting our flag and country is not one of them.

New England Patriots? Like hell they are! They should change the name of the team to New England Swine.

Last month, Roger Goodell finally got around to requiring that NFL players stand for the anthem or remain in the locker room while it is being played. The asshole should have required that from day one in 2016 when Colin Kaepernick sat on his ass during the anthem..

But Goodell did not go far enough. The asshole should have required all players to come on the field and stand for the anthem. If they don’t want to stand, fire them and let them get a real job.

I have lost all respect for Brady. By saying it was OK for players to refuse to stand for the anthem, Brady was respecting disrespect for our flag and country.
