DOJ SAYS TWO FISA WARANTS AGAINST CARTER PAGE ARE INVALID

by Bob Walsh

Yesterday the Justice Department said that the last two of the four wiretap warrants used by the FBI against former Trump aide Carter Page are in fact invalid, according to a FISA court order which was declassified and released yesterday.

The FBI has been ordered to submit not later than January 28 outlines of plans to sequester information obtained via these wiretaps.

While this may or may not have much to do with the current impeachment bullshit it will probably help Carter Page to breath a lot easier.

In order for secret warrants to function in a free society it is absolutely necessary that everybody involved in the process be both competent and scrupulously honest. Clearly that has NOT been the case.

Were I the guy making the rules I would make it difficult to damn near impossible to surveil a U.S. citizen in this manner.

It's long past time to investigate the FBI.
