FEEBS ACTUALLY DOING SOME ACTUAL INVESTIGATIVE WORK

by Bob Walsh

The FBI made two interesting arrests yesterday. One was the head of the San Francisco Public Works Department. The charges were kickbacks, accepting bribes and similar stuff that you would expect someone in that position could manage if he wanted to. A famous restaurant owner was also arrested in the same case.

They also busted a Harvard professor (an Anglo) for spying for the Communist Chinese. J. Edgar would be smiling happily if he knew.

It's a start.

I remember a city building inspector from a suburb getting an invite to lunch with the Chief of Police, who was his friend. When lunch was over, the building inspector was handcuffed and brought to the PD by the Chief. Turns out the building inspector was recorded taking money.
