I watched the last 1/2 hour of the Oscars last night. Best actor, best actress, best picture. It seemed to me that Joaquin Phoenix was either half stoned, 2/3 drunk or just plain stupid. Or maybe he just really likes cows. Or hates milk.
I admit the Best Picture surprised the crap out of me. Never before, in its 92 year history, had a non-English speaking film won Best Picture.

The entire movie industry is going to Hell in a handbasket. I watch a lot of Westerns on YouTube. I'll bet there have been 5 movies made about Wyatt Earp. Lonesome Dove will always be my favorite. "We Don't Rent Pigs."
