AN INTERESTING INTERPRETATION OF MORALITY

by Bob Walsh

You might remember My Fair Lady. Eliza Doolittle's father had no problem "selling" his daughter of Henry Higgins a reasonable sum of money, I think it was 10 Pounds. However, when the professor remarked on the matter and proposed they give him 20, he demurred. His opinion was that 20 was a great deal of money and tended to breed caution in anyone who possessed that sum. He did, however, feel perfectly free to blow 10 pounds as it gave pleasure to him and his friends, and employment to his neighbors. This attitude eventually led to his "downfall but that is neither here nor there for the nonce.

Something very interesting has been popping up in the print media mostly over the last day or so. There are apparently a modest but notable number of people, mostly men so far, who have had an interpretation of the Biden situation that is kinda-sorta similar IMHO. They are saying very publicly that, "I think he is guilty as shit, but I don't care because I hate Trump so much I will put up with anything to get rid of him."

So they are quite happy to have a man as president who, while an elected member of the senate, forcibly sexually attacked a junior staffer employed by his office as long as he isn't Donald Trump.

I am sorry, but IMHO that is seriously fucked up. However the honesty is refreshing. Usually the Democrat-Socialists PRETEND to have values and are just hypocritical asswipes. We now have at least a few who hate hypocrisy, but they hate Donald Trump more and admit it.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Whoa there, Bob! Let's be fair. Only one woman has accused the White Obama of sexual assault while numerous women have accused Trump of sexually assaulting them.

Very true Howie. However, I don't see what that has to do with the case under discussion.

You took a swipe at the White Obama. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

But I made my comment mainly to show that all the sexual assault allegations against Trump had little if any effect on the election, so that one allegation against Biden sure as hell won't effect his election chances.

I thought we were discussing hypocrisy and political honesty. Guilt or innocence doesn't have much to do with it.

Trump's party never proclaimed that we should always believe the female accuser Biden's party very emphatically did.
