CHEVY SILVERADO BEATS PISTOL

by Bob Walsh

Master Sergeant David Royer is a military cop. On Wednesday he was driving home from Fort Leavenworth when he say a guy with two weapons bail out on the Centenail Bridge and open fire apparently at random on cars on the bridge.

Sgt. Royer ran him down and left him underneath his truck until the local constabulary showed up.

Not real subtle, but pretty effective.

A couple of cars were damaged but only one person besides the shooter was injured.  The other injured person was also a Ft. Leavenworth soldier.  Unfortunately the six-year old Silverado suffered significant damage.  Maybe Chevy will have some brains and give the guy a new Truck.

The shooter is in serious but stable condition.  The cops seem to think that the action was justified and din't give Royer a ticket.

Quick thinking. Probably saved a lot of lives.
