Lori Laughlin and her designer husband have finally seen the harsh light of reality and will, about the time you are reading this, be copping a plea via video to one count each related to the college admission scandal.
Assuming the judge buys it Ms. Laughlin will get two months in the slammer and her husband five, along with various fines, community service and probation. Hell, you never know, with the Covid-19 running around she may manage two months of house arrest, though I am unsure a judge would go for that. At least I would hope not.
I don't know who finally convinced her but I think they did here a favor. Had they fought this out to the bitter end she would likely have gotten a few years, and the daughters may have been prosecuted. As it is she will do about 45-50 days in a minimum custody federal female facility giving acting lessons and fashion tips to her dorm buddies and maybe get some interesting motivation for whatever new roles she may pick up after she is rehabilitated.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Predictions are that due to the pandemic, she will do little if any time in the slammer.

I'm sure they will make money off of their story.
