Trump knows better than Fauci because, as he said, "I'm not a doctor. But I have common sense"

Dr. Anthony Fauci,testified by video conference Tuesday before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. He warned that states and cities face serious consequences if they open up too quickly. Here is what Fauci said:
"My concern that if some areas -- cities, states or what have you -- jump over those various checkpoints and prematurely open up, without having the capability of being able to respond effectively and efficiently, my concern is we will start to see little spikes that might turn into outbreaks. There is a real risk that you will trigger an outbreak that you may not be able to control, which in fact, paradoxically, will set you back, not only leading to some suffering and death that could be avoided but could even set you back on the road to try to get economic recovery."
Fauci's warning comes in stark contrast to Trump's daily call for the country to reopen. But we can all rest at ease because we know that Trump knows better than the scientists. After all, on April 5 he firmly stated that "I'm not a doctor. But I have common sense."
So, fuck Fauci and his corona crap! Let's follow the guidance of our wise President and reopen the country pronto.

Common sense tells Trump that Fauci is full of shit

Here is what our wise President told Fox News today:
"We have to get the schools open, we have to get our country open, we have to open our country. You're having bedlam already in the streets, you can't do this. We have to get it open. I totally disagree with him on schools."
And here is what he also told reporters today:
"I was surprised by his answer actually because to me it's not an acceptable answer, especially when it comes to schools. This is a disease that attacks age. And it attacks health. And if you have a heart problem, if you have diabetes, if you're a certain age it's certainly much more dangerous. But with the young children and students, just take a look at the statistics, it's pretty amazing."
Aren't you glad that corona is only dangerous for the elderly and for people with health problems. We should celebrate that with Trump common sense trumps science.

I thought Dr. Fauci spoke of flattening the curve. That has happened in Galveston County. I have seen all the numbers and graphs each day from the local health department. It followed his prediction. Now what?
Medicine is not an exact science (though doctors often pretend it is). Experts are not always right. The "final decision" about such things will be made by elected officials and to some extent bureaucrats, who are only rarely doctors. That is the way our system works.

This is the same County where the County Judge Mark Henry wouldn't bend to hysteria and take away constitutional rights of the people. This includes more tests than were given by each of the 8 individual surrounding counties. I don't really like the guy because he thinks he's great. Just ask him. But he does his job well. (Republican)
