The teeming metropolis of Windsor, CA (Sonoma County, population about 28,000) is working at recalling it's mayor.

Foppoli, 38, is under fire from the United Residents For Recalling
Foppoli Committee is after has ass because he has refused to resign
after being accused of sexual assault by several women. The six
complaints go back to 2002 and include rape as well as lesser offenses.
He has been mayor for about three years and can only be removed by
recall or a felony conviction.
The recall committee has 120 days to collect 3,376 signatures, which is 20% of the towns registered voters.
