The
state of Virginia, in recognition of the fact (???) that math has been
in the past inherently racist, is proposing that, in grades K-10, ALL
students in each grade level will be taught math at exactly the same
level. No more bonehead math classes, no more advanced math classes.
Some
of the parents, at least the ones who can read English and are aware of
this academic abomination, are screaming like mashed cats.
I would not care to hazard a guess as to whether or not this proposal will proceed as I do not know how badly the Virginia school systems and legislature have been infiltrated by D C transplants..
