YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GET A REAL COP IN CALIFORNIA, BUT THE WATER POLICE ARE AFTER YOUR ASS

By Bob Walsh

An automated sprinkler waters grass in front of homes in Alhambra, California on April 27, 2022, a day after Southern California delared a water shortage emergency with unprecedented new restrictions on outdoor watering for millions of people living in Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.

Brown grass in a front lawn

The East Bay Municipal Utilities District (East Bay MUD) board voted Tuesday to cap water use for households in most of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

Lawn watering will be limited to one day per week.

Right at the moment the household limits are 1,646 gallons per day.  Average use is 200 gallons per day.  The district admits this use limit will tighten over time.

'What I¿m looking for is the girl in the house cause I¿m going to rape her and kill her. Can you have her open the door?' the bearded, tattooed man says, adding that he has a gun and a knife
I'm here to piss on your lawn. Do you have some beer or wine to help me do my job

If you go over your limit the district intends to hire a bunch of homeless alcoholics to come over to your house and piss on your lawn, thereby killing it so you don't have to water it.  (This paragraph is a joke.  Probably.  Maybe.)
