Louisiana granny kills girl, 4, by forcing her to drink HALF BOTTLE OF WHISKEY as mom watched Roxanne Record and Kadjah Record have been accused of killing their four-year-old girl

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: A four-year-old girl has died after her grandmother allegedly forced her to drink alcohol while her mother watched. Roxanne Record, 53, and her daughter Kadjah Record, 28, both have been arrested on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of China Record, who died on Thursday, April 21, due to acute alcohol poisoning, according to the East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office . The child's death has been deemed a homicide.

Baton Rouge Police said on Friday that Roxanne asked the little girl to drink the rest of the whiskey in a bottle after she suspected her of having a sip of it. It has been said that China’s blood-alcohol content (BAC) was .068, which is over eight times the permitted limit for drivers in Louisiana. In the state, adults are considered legally drunk while driving when their BAC is .08 or more. Dr Ernest P. Chiodo, a physician, attorney and toxicologist based in Chicago, said: “Even if this was a full-grown adult, this is a fatal amount of alcohol.”

Cops arrived at the home in the Windsor Place area of Baton Rouge Thursday morning after receiving reports of an unresponsive kid. As they reached the crime scene, China’s siblings told them their grandmother was angry with her, suspecting that she had drunk Canadian Mist — an 80-proof whiskey — which is reportedly 40% alcohol, left on the counter. Roxanne then allegedly decided to punish her and asked her to kneel on the floor in the hallway and forced her to have the remaining drink.

In booking documents, police noted that after China drank the remaining half of the bottle Kadjah put her in a bathtub, “and neither woman sought medical care for China until after she had stopped breathing.” After being taken into custody, Roxanne reportedly said: “This went too far” and that she had “ruined everyone’s lives.” She also apparently stated that “she messed up” and “wanted to take full responsibility” for the tragedy. “It’s sickening,” 30-year-old Kiara Charles, who lives in the same area where Records’ house is said.

China’s other siblings’ whereabouts are not clear yet. The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services released a statement that read: “We are devastated to hear the news of this child’s death. However, state law prevents our department from commenting on, or even acknowledging the existence of, a potential investigation of abuse or neglect involving a child. If there is an investigation, state laws make the entire process – from report to investigation to outcome – confidential.”

Meanwhile, Advocate records show that the latest tragedy “was the second killing of a child younger than 5 in East Baton Rouge in nine days, and the city-parish’s fourth such killing this year — a staggering figure that far outpaces the single killing in that age bracket by this point in 2021.” It mentioned that young people’s death rate is higher this year than earlier two years, before adding, “Thirteen people younger than 20 have been killed since January in the city-parish, five of whom were 5 or younger. Three of those five other toddler-age homicide victims died due to domestic violence, according to police.”

South Louisiana is a Shithole. I drive through it in route to Mississippi's Beau Rivage and Pensacola's Pristine Beaches. My last trip was at night and I had to stop in Baton Rouge. The criminal element were running wild near a convenience store off I-10 where I open carried a pistol while pumping gas. Pretty much the universal, "Fuck around and find out signal."

On a side note Baton Rouge is also home to one of the nation's 1st Black Serial Killers. Derrick Todd Lee

Serial Killer
Derrick Todd Lee, also known as The Baton Rouge Serial Killer, was an American serial killer. Between 1992 and 2003, Lee murdered seven women in the Baton Rouge area.
