The
formerly great state of California passed a law back in 2019 to shut
down private prisons within the state, most of which are leased by the
feds. A court ruling told CA they can't do that. On Tuesday a federal
appeals court ordered a new hearing before an 11 judge panel of the
court. The chief judge of the Ninth Circuit is an Obama appointee.
A three judge panel of the Ninth has ruled that the state can NOT piss on the federal government's shoes in this matter.
