IT'S OK TO KILL JEWS, BUT LET THE ISRAELIS KILL A TERRORIST, THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY CALLS THAT A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY

What would be the response to terrorist gunmen opening fire on a group of US congressmen or British parliamentarians? The military response would no doubt be overwhelming, and we could expect at least a few days of global headline news coverage.

But when Israeli lawmakers, especially right-wing Israeli lawmakers, suffer such an ordeal, it’s all but ignored by the international community.

So it’s doubtful you heard about the Tuesday night attack on eight Members of Knesset as they exited one of Judaism’s holiest sites, the tomb of the patriarch Joseph in the biblical city of Shechem (called Nablus by the Arabs).

The MKs included four from Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party, one from the ultra-Orthodox Shas party, and three from the right-wing nationalist Religious Zionism faction. See below a group photo take at Joseph’s Tomb shortly before they came under Palestinian fire.

Palestinian terrorists had issued a warning to the Israeli lawmakers not to visit Joseph’s Tomb, and threatened the “unthinkable” if they did. The Palestinians tried to make good on that promise, engaging the group’s IDF entourage in a gun battle as the MKs exited the religious compound.

A 15-year-old member of the Palestinian terror group that carried out the attack was killed during the firefight.

Jewish worshippers are routinely attacked while visiting Joseph’s Tomb, an act of religious persecution that is just as routinely ignored by the international community.
