WalMart announced today that
they are closing both of their stores in Portland, OR. effective the end
of this month. They cite both fears for employee safety and massive
theft loss. The theft loss is created by the political climate in
Portland that essentially makes thievery legal.
Maybe
when people have to drive 50 miles to buy disposable diapers or cheap
Chinese-made crap of all sorts they will get their minds right. But
probably not. Wait until the mainline grocery stores start closing.
That will attract attention.
