Yesterday the God-Emperor of the formerly great state of
California, Gavin "I Hate Guns" Newsom, backed away from reparations to
Black people in a very impressive manner, causing many to say, "See, I
told you, the jerk is running for President."
The
actual voters of California, some of who are even citizens, are more
conservative than either Newsom or the legislature. They have voted to
shitcan affirmative action for college admission criteria and voted to
not only keep but to speed up executions. Newsom has issued a
moratorium on all capital punishment in the state and ordered the death
chamber dismantled, which will greatly delay any executions in the
future should another governor decide to go with what the law says and
the people want.
He knows
that sucking up to the 9% Black population at the expense (literally)
of everybody else is likely a sure loser, even in California.
Gavin
says that non-monetary remedies should still be explored. Damn, that's
nice of him. I wonder what the Black folks who want their $1.2 million
plus a free house think of that.
