Tuckahoe ShopRite in Yonkers.Yonkers police said NYPD officer Aaron Cataquet, 27, was caught shoplifting nearly $700 in groceries from the Tuckahoe ShopRite supermarket on April 29 and again on Sunday.

A Bronx NYPD cop allegedly stole groceries from a Yonkers supermarket — and got busted when he returned to the store a week later to shoplift more goods, police said Thursday.

Aaron Cataquet, 27, a five-year veteran of New York’s Finest, is accused of making off with $690 in groceries from the Tuckahoe ShopRite store after being identified through face recognition technology, according to the Yonkers Police Department.

Cataquet, who recently passed the NYPD sergeant’s exam, was allegedly first seen loading his car up with stolen goods at the Westchester County food store on April 29, cops and sources said.

He allegedly returned on May 7 and was recognized by store security, who called the police.

In both cases, cops said Cataquet was seen on surveillance cameras walking out of the store with the merchandise and loading his car.

He was charged with petty larceny and released on a desk-appearance ticket pending a return court appearance, police said.

The NYPD said Thursday that Cataquet has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the case.

According to public records, his salary was $59,091 last year.

That is a piss-poor salary, but unless he was stealing booze $690 is a LOT of damn groceries.

A 5 year NYPD cop only makes $60,000 a year? A local cop near me starts at $72,000 and will make close to $100,000 in 5 years.

New York's Finest? Bullshit.

55k is starting salary for NY cop, after 5 years is 100k. So the pay scale is off on the narrative
