An injured LASO cadet is tended to by parademics.
Alejandro Martinez, a LASO academy cadet was run down by a SUV while running in Whittier with a group of academy cadets. A total of 25 cadets were injured in the incident.
Cadet Martinez died Sunday from injuries received in the incident, which occurred last November. The driver has not been charged in the crash.
