A court had been warned just hours earlier that the father Danair Harden posed 'an immediate threat' to the family but he was freed on $4,000 bail
Danair Harden, 30, was an asshole. I would say is an
asshole but he had the decency to murder himself after killing his own
8-year old son, Amir, while attempting to kill the boy's mother. The
son was trying to protect his mother from his asshole father when he was
shot in the head, probably unintentionally, while trying to take the
gun away from his father.
The
asshole had just gotten out of the Dakota County, Minnesota, court
while facing charges of trying to strangle the child's mother, Cherish
Edwards, to death just days before. The mom told the cops she was
afraid of him, that he had a carry permit and often in fact did carry a
gun.
The asshole showed up
at a home in Burnsville near midnight when the mother, five children and
other family members were there. The situation turned to shit almost
immediately. Danair shot his son to death, and then immediately
self-rehabilitated. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the
dead as Amir Harden and Danair Harden.
