A 5-year old girl is in critical condition in Washington
D.C. after being shot by her 3-year old brother. It seems that the
3-year old found what turned out to be a 'ghost gun" in the family home
and decided to play with it.
Darrell
Graham, 59, a "family friend" who was baby sitting while the mother was
away was present when the shooting occurred. He is now charged with
First Degree Cruelty to Children. The gun and ammunition was recovered
at the scene. The girl's 21-year old sister, O'Jaunae McCrory Jackson,
was subsequently arrested for First Degree Cruelty to Children and
several firearms offenses. She was also charged with assaulting one of
the officers who responded to the incident.
