It seems that some nutball went to the small (35 students) K-8 Seventh
Day Adventists school outside of Oroville, California on Wednesday and opened fire on the
kindergarteners out at recess with a handgun, wounding two of them
critically, before he had the decency to self-rehabilitate. He was dead
before the cops arrived. So far as is known he has no connection
whatsoever to the school. Senseless, stupid and pointless seem to
described the situation. Immediately before the shooting he had a
seemingly normal conversation with the principal about possibly placing
and apparently fictional child at the school. He then left the meeting
and opened fire.
