New Jersey law enforcement officers Brian DiBiasi, 39, and Elizabeth
DiBiasi, 42, have been arrested after allegedly sharing nude images of

Two married New Jersey
police officers have been arrested after allegedly sharing nude images
of themselves with their children in the background and bragging about
having sex in front of them online.
Officers
Brian DiBiasi, 39, and Elizabeth DiBiasi, 42, were arrested last week
following a tip to law enforcement about their alleged online
activities.
Brian was fired from the
Hamilton Police Department last week after he was accused of using the
messaging app Kik to send 'image and video files of suspected child
sexual exploitation and abuse material', New Jersey Attorney General
Matt Platkin said in a statement.
During an investigation into the images,
authorities allegedly found lewd images of him with his wife, Elizabeth,
who is a deputy with the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, and their
children.
Brian allegedly shared 36
naked pictures and videos of his wife with their children depicted
nearby, and his chat logs 'mentioned children being present while he and
his wife had sex', Platkin said.
He
is facing five charges including possessing under 1,000 images of child
sexual abuse material and endangering the welfare of a child.
Brian
is also charged with possessing images of child sexual abuse with the
intent to distribute, while his wife is charged with one count
of endangering the welfare of child by engaging in sexual conduct.
The couple's social media is filled with images of them smiling on family vacations with their young children.
Brian
was fired last week from the Hamilton Police Department following his
arrest, while Elizabeth has been suspended without pay from the Mercer
County Sheriff's Office, where she worked for 18 years
The investigation into the DiBiasi's
resulted from a report from the National Center for Missing and
Exploited Children about the alleged images, which allegedly included
some where children were naked as well as Elizabeth, reports NJ.com.
Brian
was fired from his position two days after their arrest on January 29,
and although Elizabeth was suspended without pay, it is unclear if she
is still employed as a sheriff's deputy.
The
couple appeared in Burlington County Superior Court on Friday, and were
released on bail under several conditions, including restrictions on
their travel and a ban on seeing their children without approval from
child protective services.
Their
proceedings were moved from Mercer County due to their associations with
the town, with Elizabeth serving 18 years with the Mercer County
Sheriff's Office, where she earned a reported $134,000-per-year.
Authorities said the couple's alleged actions were especially shocking due to their positions as police officers.
'Sexual offenses against children are among the most serious crimes we charge,' Platkin said.
'It’s
especially disturbing when, as in this case, the accused are members of
law enforcement. Protecting children from this kind of lasting harm is
one of our most important responsibilities.'

New
Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin said the couple's arrest was
'especially disturbing when the accused are members of law enforcement'
The Mayor of Hamilton Jeff Martin issued a statement after Brian was removed from the town's police department.
'These
actions are not only abhorrent but have also shaken our community’s
sense of security and trust in those who are sworn to protect us,' he
wrote.
'While those feelings are
understandable, let me be clear: the despicable actions of these
individuals do not define our community or the dedication and integrity
of the men and women who serve and protect us every day.'
